Strengthening the region

As a medium-sized family-owned company in Saxony-Anhalt, we feel a very strong connection to the region. Over the last few decades it has become a tradition for us to financially support communal life, various clubs, organisations and activities.

Since 2007 we have been a sponsor of the SC Magdeburg, a team in the 1st division of the German Handball League.  It means a lot to us to support this 1st League team with its long tradition in eastern Germany. We appreciate the team both for serving as a beacon in the sporting world and for serving as a wide-reaching social identification medium.

We have also been motor sport sponsors for many years. It is a real treat to experience how with comparatively modest investments it is possible to support and develop the commitment of keen motor sport fans we know and at the same time further raise the profile of the VOELPKER brand with the teams’ appearances and success.

On June 11, 2016, the motorcycle team Völpker NRT48, which is sponsored by us and which had previously been performing so well, was again in contention for victory at the 12 Horas de Portimão in Portugal. With second place in the Superstock and Dunlop Independence Trophy, they now go into the race at Oschersleben on August 25-28 leading the world championship and with a great chance of clinching the title. Huge congratulations from all of us!

We also support a Formula 3 class team from Austria, which finished in the top half of the FIA CEZ European Championship table in the 2015 season.
