With our 120 years of production history in montan and special waxes, we are among the most long-standing wax producers in Europe.
After our company’s founding in 1900, we developed various oxidation and refining processes for raw wax.
With these same processes we continue to produce light-coloured montan waxes very similar to natural waxes in the form of acid, ester and partially saponified waxes.
VOELPKER established its chrome tanning agent production as an additional business field in the early 1970s.
In 2002 we commissioned a flexible production line for the manufacturing of individual special wax blends made of various base materials. With this line we are currently able to develop from various waxes, polymers and resins products to meet the specific requirements of our customers.
